Lex Express Detailing Deposit Policy
1. Deposit Requirement
To secure your mobile detailing appointment with Lex Express Detailing, a deposit is required. The deposit amount will be 50% of the total service cost. We will try our best to accommodate scheduling conflicts as they arise before forfeiture of deposits.
2. Booking Confirmation
Your appointment will only be confirmed once we receive your deposit. Until then, your requested date and time are subject to availability.
3. Payment Deadline
Your deposit must be paid on the same day on which your quote is accepted.
4. Deposit Payment Methods
We accept the following payment methods for deposits:
- Credit or debit cards
- Bank transfers
- Cash (if paid in person)
5. Non-Refundable Deposit
The deposit is non-refundable except under the following circumstances:
- Weather conditions preventing service
- Route disruption or cancellation by Lex Express
- In cases of cancellation or rescheduling as outlined in our cancellation policy
6. Deposit Application
Your deposit will be applied toward the total cost of the service you receive on the scheduled date.
7. Cancellation Policy
- If you need to cancel your appointment, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance.
- If you cancel within the specified notice period (over 48 hours remaining until appointment), you deposit will be refunded in full.
- Cancellations made outside of the notice period (less than 48 hours remaining until appointment) will result in forfeiture of the deposit.
8. Rescheduling
- You may reschedule your appointment once without losing your deposit if done within the notice period (more than 48 hours remaining until appointment).
- Subsequent rescheduling may result in forfeiting the deposit.
9. Missed Appointments (No Show)
If you do not show up for your appointment without prior notice, your deposit will be forfeited.
10. Service Guarantee
We are committed to providing top-quality detailing services. If you are not satisfied with our service, please contact us immediately after the service date, and we will address your concerns promptly.
11. Refund Processing
Refunds, when applicable, will be processed within 2 business days of the cancellation or refund request.

- Confirm Appointment
- Double-check the date and time of your appointment with the detailing service provider
- Parking and Accessibility
- Ensure your vehicle is parked in a location where the detailing team can access it easily.
- Clear any obstacles that might obstruct the detailing team's access to your vehicle
- If the vehicle is stored in a garage, please remove it from the garage or make keys readily available.
- The ideal parking location is a flat area where all doors can open freely and completely.
- Remove Personal Items
- Remove all personal items from your vehicle, including valuables, electronics, and important documents. Any items retrieved or discovered will be placed in clear bag.
- Empty the Vehicle
- Clear out any major trash or debris from the interior of your car, including the glove compartment and trunk.
- Fuel Level
- Ensure your vehicle has enough fuel to allow the detailing team to move it if necessary. For winter services, the engine may need to be started and heat ran while performing mobile services.
- Be Available
- Be available to meet the detailing team at the scheduled time to discuss your specific requirements and expectations.
- If not available in person, we ask that you be available to call or text during your service as questions may arise from the detailing team.
- Child Car Seats
- If you have car seats for children, we ask that you remove them prior to the detailing process as our associates WILL NOT remove care seats without authorization from the client.
- Water and Electricity
- We do not require access to water or electricity; however, we may utilize either in the event that they are readily available and accessible
- Questions and Special Requests
- Prepare any questions you have for the detailing team.
- Communicate any special requests or areas of concern regarding your vehicle's cleaning and detailing needs.
- Secure Payment
- Ensure you have the necessary payment method ready, whether it's cash, credit/debit cards, or another form of payment accepted by the detailing service.
- Allow Time
- Understand that the detailing process may take some time, depending on the service requested and the condition of your vehicle.
- Inspection
- When the detailing team finished their work, take a few minutes to inspect your vehicle and ensure that you are satisfied with the results.
- Tips and Feedback
- Consider leaving a tip or positive review for the detailing team if you are satisfied with their work.
- Provide onsite feedback to the detailing service provider to help them improve their services.
- Post-Detailing Care
- Follow any specific care instructions provided by the detailing team to maintain the cleanliness and condition of your vehicle.
